Real Burg News is what happens when you take the warmth of a small-town front porch and weld it to the speed of the open web. We pull headlines from sources you already trust — WTOP, WUSA9, Virginia Mercury, BBC, Reuters, Guardian, NASA — every five minutes. We link out. We don't republish bodies. We don't strip-mine other people's work for ad money.

What we will do: editorials with a name attached, comics that are actually funny, and a hyperlocal feed that respects the fact that the Burg is an actual place with actual people in it. 38.3031° N, 77.4605° W. That's home.
